Served with - Sambar / Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney
Oil – 3 spoon
Sooji (Ravai) – 1 cups
Onion – 1
Green Chilli – 4
Tomato - 1
Curry leaves – 10 leaves
Ginger (Chopped) – 1 spoon
Carrot – 1
Beans – 10
Ghee – 1 spoon
Salt - As required
Turmeric Powder (Manjal Podi) – 1 spoon
Water – 2 cups
Mustard (Kaduku) – 1 tsp
Cashewnuts – 10
Channa dal (Kadalai Paruppu) – 1 spoon
Urad dal (Ulundu Paruppu) – 1 spoon
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1 spoon
Method:
Boil the carrot, Peas and beans for 10 mins, Drain and keep aside.
In a kadai, Fry the sooji for 2 to 5 mins and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadai, Add the Mustard, Curry leaves, Onions, Green chilli, Tomato, Ginger and fry.
Once it is frying, Add the salt and turmeric powder and Saute for 2 mins.
Add the boiled carrot, Peas and beans into it.
Now add the water and mix nicely.
Now add the roasted sooji and mix until it gets thick.
Now simmer the stove, Cover with a tight lid and cook for 10 mins.
Add the ghee and switch off.
Serve and Enjoy with Sambar / Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney
