Kilangu Meen Fry


Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 10 mins
Cooking Time - 10 Mins
Serves for - 2 Persons
Served with - Lemon and Onion

Ingredients:
Fish (Kilangu Meen) – 4
Oil – As required

Marination:
Lemon - 1/2
Turmeric Powder (Manjal Thool) – 1/4 spoon
Coriander Powder (Thaniya Thool) – 1 spoon
Salt - As required

For Masala: 
Small Onion - 12
Red Chilli - 2
Coriander Leaves - 1 cup
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Garlic - 20
Pepper - 1 spoon

Method:
In a vessel, Add cleaned and cutted fish and mix some lemon juice.
Then, Add Coriander powder, Turmeric Powder with Salt and mix well.
Now, In a blender, Add Onion, Red Chilli, Coriander leaves, Ginger, Garlic, Pepper and grind like paste.
Mix and Spread the mix on top of fish slices well on both sides and marinate for 30 mins.
In a pan, Heat it nicely and place the fish over it. Now pour the oil on the edge of fish, Cook on a medium heat for 5 to 6 mins.
Flip the other side, Add oil on edge and cook on medium heat for 5 mins until it gets cooked.
Serve and enjoy. :)
