Serves - 10 - 12 Dosas
Served with - Sambar / Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney
Ingredients:
Barnyard (Kuthiraivaali) - 1 cup
Urad dal - 1/3 cup
Fenu Greek (Venthayam) - 1/2 spoon
Tomato - 2
Ginger - 1/4 inch
Salt - As required
Onion - 1
Coriander Leaves (Chopped) - 1/2 cup
Oil - 2 spoon
Method:
First, In a bowl, Add Barnyard, Urad dal, Fenu greek and wash well and soak over night.
On next day, Move the Barnyard content to Blender with 1 cup of water and make into a fine puree.
In blender, Add cutted tomatoes, Ginger and blend as puree.
Mix the tomato puree into Barnyard batter and mix well.
Add the chopped coriander leaves into the batter and mix well.
In a pan, Add oil, Onion and fry well.
Mix the fried onion into batter and mix well.
Now in a hot tawa and pour a bit of batter like dosa.
Sprinkle oil around the sides and cook on both sides.
Serve and Enjoy with Sambar / Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney
