
Kuthiraivaali (Barnyard Millet) is a nutrient-packed grain that you can use in many ways. It's rich in protein and excellent source of fiber. It helps on weightloss.

Served with - Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney
Ingredients:
For Batter:
Barnyard (Kuthiraivaali) - 1 cup
Dosa Batter - 3 cups
Salt - As required
For Frying:
Oil – 1 spoon
Onion – 2
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 Spoon
Channa dal (Kadalai Paruppu) - 1 Spoon
Coriander Leaves - 1 bunch
Green Chilli – 2
Ginger (Cleaned & Cutted) - 1/2 inch
Salt - As required
Method:
First, In a pan, Add Barnyard with water, Wash well and Marinate for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, Move Barnyard to blender and grind well like batter.
Add Dosa Batter into the Barnyard batter.
Mix both together with salt and keep aside.
In a pan, Add Oil, Mustard, Channa dal, Curry leaves and fry well.
Add the Onions, Green chillies, Ginger, Salt and fry until it is golden brown and cooked well.
Add the mix into Paniyaram batter and mix well.
Heat the paniyaram pan and grease with Oil.
Pour mixed batter into the pan and cook on low flame till it gets cooked on one side.
Take a spoon and flip over another side until it cooked nicely.
Flip both side and ensure it is cooked nicely.
Serve and Enjoy with Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney. :)
