Kambu Payasam



Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 5 mins
Cooking Time - 15 Mins
Serves - 4 to 5 Persons
Served with - Keerai Bonda / Onion Bajji / Nendran Bajji / Milagai Bajji / Potato Bajji / Brinjal Bajji

Ingredients:Pearl Millet (Kambu) - 1/2 cup   
Milk - 2 cups
Sugar -1/2 cup   
Ghee - 1 spoon
Cardamom - 5
Cashews - 20
Dry Grapes - 20

Method:In a Pressure Cooker, Wash Kambu, Add water and pressure cook for 2 to 3 whistles and keep aside.
In a kadai, Add ghee, Fry cashews and Dry grapes.
Now in Kambu boiled cooker with low flame, Add Sugar and mix well. 
Now, Add milk into it, Mix well and cook for 10 minutes. 
Finally, Add cardamom, Roasted cashews and dry grapes.
Serve with - Keerai Bonda / Onion Bajji / Nendran Bajji / Milagai Bajji / Potato Bajji / Brinjal Bajji. :)
