Ingredients:
Banana Peppers (Bajji Milagai) - 3
Gram Flour (Kadalai Mavu) - 1 cup
Rice flour - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1 spoon
Chilli powder - 1 spoon
Baking powder - 1/2 spoon
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 spoon
Water - As needed
Salt - as required
For Potato Masala:
Boiled Potato - 2
Onion - 1
Green chilli - 1
Ginger - 1/2 spoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
Mustard seeds (Kaduku) - 1 spoon
Cumin seeds (Jeera) - 1 spoon
Chilli powder - 1 spoon
Turmeric powder (Manjal thool) - 1 spoon
Coriander leaves - As required
Salt - As required
Method:
In a bowl, Mix Gram flour, Rice flour, Ginger garlic paste, Salt, Baking powder, Turmeric powder, Chilli powder with water and make like a paste .
First, Cut the Banana Peppers into 2 pieces and Set aside.
In a kadai, Heat the oil and add mustard, Curry leaves, Cumin seeds, Green chilli, Ginger and stir well.
Add the onions and cook until it is golden brown.
Now add the red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Salt and stir well.
Add in the boiled mashed potatoes and mix the masala items.
Finally, Garnish with coriander leaves and mix well and Stuff inside the Banana Peppers.
In a Pan, Heat oil for deep frying.
Gently, dip the Banana Peppers in batter and fry in heated oil till golden on both sides.
Drain the oil.
Serve and enjoy.
