Green Gram Idli


Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 30 mins
Cooking Time - 15 Mins
Serves For - 3 Persons
Served with - Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney

Ingredients:
Raw Idly Rice - 1/2 cup
Green Gram (Pachai Payaru) – 1/2 cup
Urad Dhall (Ulundam Paruppu) - 1/2 cup
Salt - As required
Water - As required

Method:
In a vessel, Soak the Rice, Green Gram and Urad Dhall for 3 hours with water.
After 3 hours, Drain Rice, Dhall and grind into smooth paste with some water and salt.
Mix the water if required, Until forms as thick batter.
In a Idli pan, Pour batter and spread it.
Boil for 10 to 15 mins, Until it gets cooked.
Serve and enjoy.
