Wheat Parotta


Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 15 mins
Cooking Time - 10 Mins
Serves - 3 persons (10 - 12 Pieces)

Ingredients:
Wheat (Godumai) – 2 cups
Warm milk - 300 ml
Oil – 2 tblspn 
Salt - 1/4 spoon
Sugar - 1/2 spoon

For Making Paste:
Oil – 1/4 cup
Wheat (Godumai) – 1/4 cup

Method:
In a bowl and mix the wheat, Salt, Sugar, Oil 1 spoon and Add water as required.
Now form as a dough, Cover it with a cloth and rest for 30 min.
In a bowl, Add around 1/4 cup of Wheat, Pour in some oil and make it to a smooth paste and set aside.
Pick a small portion from Dough and spread it as a thin parotta, Add a spoon of Wheat oil over the parotta and spread.
Cut with a sharp knife as strips on the rolled parotta. 
Now arrange the strips together and make as round.
Apply some more oil on the dough ball and roll it as a parotta.
Heat the tawa and place the parotta and cook with oil on both sides till it is golden brown.
Serve and enjoy. :)
