Easy Chicken Kulambu


Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 5 mins
Cooking Time - 15 Mins
Serves - 4 persons 
Served with - Wheat Parotta / Roti Recipes 

Ingredients:
For Species Powder:
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) - 1 spoon
Cinnamon (Pattai) - 1/2 inch
Black Pepper - 20
Clove (Krambu) - 3

For Masala:
Oil - 1 spoon
Shallots (Small Onion) - 15
Red Chilli (Vara Milagai) - 5
Tomato - 2

For Gravy:
Oil - 2 spoons
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) - 1/4 spoon
Ginger Paste - 1 spoon
Garlic Paste - 1 spoon
Coriander Powder - 1/2 spoon
Chicken - 500 grams
Salt - As required
Coriander Leaves - As required


Method:
First in a pan, Add Fennel Seeds, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Clove and fry well.
Move to blender, Grind well and keep aside.
In a pan, Add oil, Onions, Red Chillies, Tomatos and fry until golden.
Grind as masala and Keep aside.
Now, In a pan, Add Oil, Cumin Seeds, Ginger Garlic paste, Grinded Onion Tomato Masala, Salt, Coriander Powder and cook till oil separates for 10 to 15 mins.
Now, Add the grinded spices into the masala.
Finally, Add the chicken, Cover and cook for 15 mins.
Add the coriander leaves finally and mix well.
Serve and enjoy. :)
