Kova Panneer Jamoon


Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 10 mins
Cooking Time - 10 Mins

Serves - 15 - 20 pieces

Ingredients:
Unsweetened Kova - 1.5 cup (100 gms)
Panneer - 1/4 cup
All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 2 spoons

For Sugar Syrup:
Sugar – 1 cup
Water – 1 cup
Cardamom (Elaichi) – 8
Lemon Juice - 1 spoon
Rose Essence - 1/2 spoon

Method:
In a Pan, Add the sugar, Water and boil it in Sim for 10 mins until it gets little sticky.
Then, Add powder the cardamom and add into the sugar syrup.
Add the Lemon Juice and Rose essence and boil for 2 more minutes.
In a bowl, Add the sweetened kova, Panneer Flour and Knead it to a soft dough and keep aside for 5 mins.
Take a little dough and round it to a small ball without cracks.
In pan, Heat oil for frying. Keep in sim, Put the balls and fry until it is golden.
Drain the oil and put into hot sugar syrup.
Cover and soak for 2 hours atleast to get soft jamuns.
Serve and Enjoy. :)
