Green Gram Kozukattai



Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 5 mins
Cooking Time - 10 Mins
Serves - 4 persons

Served with - Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney

Ingredients:
For Dough:
Rice Flour (Arisi Maavu) - 2 cups
Salt - 1 pinch
Hot Boiling Water - As required
Ghee - 1 spoon

For Filling:
Green gram - 1 cup
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Green Chillies - 2
Salt - As required

Method:
In a Blender, Add green gram, Coconut, Salt, Green Chillies and blend well.
In a pan, Add the Rice Flour, Salt and Ghee.
Add the rice flour with Hot water and mix well until the dough becomes consistent.
Take small piece of dough and flatten first and Place the filling inside and Shape it as shown in picture.
If you have got this Mould from shops, follow the below way to get the shape.
Keep in Idli steamer and steam it for 10 to 15 mins.
Serve and Enjoy. :)
