Ingredients:
Rice Flour (Arusi Maavu) – 1 cup
Water – 2 cups
Coconut (Grated) – 1/2 cup
Salt - As required
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 spoon
Split Urad dal (Ulundu Paruppu) – 1 tblspn
Onion - 2
Green Chilli – 4
Curry Leaves – 10 leaves
Oil – 2 spoons
Method:
In a pan, Add Oil, Mustard, Urad Dal, Onion, Green Chilli, Curry leaves and Fry it.
Add the water, Salt and Bring it to a boil.
Now, Add the rice flour gradually and mix well.
Now, Add the coconut gradually and mix well.
Keep cooking until the flour gets cooked nicely and becomes non sticky.
Let it Cool and knead it.
Take your hands with a drop of oil and take a small portion of flour and form like a small oval shape as shown in picture.
In a idli pan steam cook for 10 to 15 mins.
Serve and enjoy. :)
