Ingredients:
Kala Chana (Karuppu Sundal) – 1 cup
Salt - As required
Coconut – 1/2 cup
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 spoon
Urad dal (Ulundu Paruppu) – 1 spoon
Onion - 1
Red Chillies – 4
Curry leaves – a sprig
Ginger - 1 small piece
Oil – 2 spoons
Method:
In a bowl, Before a day, Wash and soak chana in water.
On the next day, Add the Chana in cooker, Add water, Salt and pressure cook it for 5 whistles.
Turn off and keep aside.
In a pan, Add Oil, Curry leaves, Mustard, Urad Dal, Chopped Onion, Red chillies, Chopped Ginger and fry.
Add the cooked chana with little water and fry for 5 mins.
Finally add the coconut and stir well.
Serve and Enjoy. :)
