Puttu / Kulai Puttu


Ingredients:
Rice Flour (Arisi Masvu) – 2 cups
Salt - 1/2 spoon
Coconut – 1 cup
Water around 1/2 cup
Banana (Nendran) - 1

Method:
In a bowl, heat the water and keep aside.

                                     


In a bowl, Add Salt, Rice flour and mix well.




After heating, Gradually add the hot water and make like coarse crumbs.


Now, Take the puttu vessel, Add the sliced banana, Second 1 spoon shredded Coconut and add the flour mixture. Again coconut and flour micture, Continue till top ends.






Finally close with Banana again.

Steam cook for 10 mins until the steam comes on top.

Now slowly push the boiled puttu and using a spoon from bottom.


Serve with Sugar / Kadalai Curry and enjoy. :)
