Served with - Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney
Ingredients:
Sooji (Rava) – 1 cup
Rice Flour (Arisi Mavu) – 1 cup
All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 1/2 cup
Salt - As required
Water as needed
For Seasoning:
Oil- 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds (kaduku0 – 1 spoon
Curry leaves – 10 leaves
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1 spoon
Whole Pepper – 2 spoon
Green Chilli – 3 chopped finely
Ginger – 1 tblspn minced
Onion – 1 medium size finely chopped
Coriander Leaves – 1/4 cup
Method:
In a Bowl, Add rava, Rice flour, Maida and Salt and mix well.
Add Onion, Ginger, Curry leaves, Green chilli and mix well.
Add water, Make into a thin batter and Set it aside for 15 mins.
Finally, Add coriander leaves too and mix well.
In a tawa and pour batter and Drizzle some oil and let it cook for couple of minutes until it is golden.
Flip over and cook for a min.
