Ingredients:
For Grinding:
Coconut - 3 pieces
Saunf (Sombu) - 1 spoon
Small Onion - 3
For Masala:
Corainder - 2 spoons
Red chilli - 1
Mustard - 1/2 spoon
Jeera (Jeerakam) - 1/2 spoon
Channa Dal (Kadalai Paruppu) - 1/2 spoon
Urad Dal (Ulutham paruppu) - 1/2 spoon
For frying:
Oil - as required
Okra (Vendakkai) - 10
Mustard (kadugu) - 1 spoon
Curry leaves - 5 leafs
Onion - 1
tomoto - 1
Turmeric powder (Manjal thool) - 1/2 spoon
Chilli Powder (Milagai thool) - 1 spoon
Coriandar powder (Dhaniya thool) - 1/2 spoon
Kulambu Masala thool - 1 spoon
Salt - as required
Tamrind (Puli) - 1 lemon size
Jaggery / Sugar - 1 spoon
Water - 1 cup
Method:
In a kadai, Add oil, Okra and fry well.
Grind Coconut, onion and saunf with water and keep aside.
Again in kadai, Add all masala items and fry well.
Grind the fried masala and keep aside.
Now, Add the Mustard, Curry leaves, Onion, Tomato and fry well.
Add little water and grinded masala stir well.
Add the okra, grinded coconut and water.
Finally add jaggery and cook for 10 mins.
Serve and enjoy. :)
