Rava Idli



Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 10 mins
Cooking Time - 15 Mins
Serves - 3 persons
Served with - Coconut Chutney / Tomato Chutney / Dhall Chutney / Brinjal Chutney


Ingredients:
Rava (Sooji) – 1 cup
Curd – 3/4 cup
Cashews - 10
Carrot - 1 Shredded
Salt - as required
Water - as required

For Frying:
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 spoon
Kadalai Paruppu – 1 spoon
Curry leaves – 5 Leafs
Coriander leafs - 1 spoon
Green Chillies – 2
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp

Method:
Heat the kadai and add oil.
Add sooji and fry for 5 min without burning. Set aside.
Heat the kadai, Add oil and Put the curry leaves, Mustard, Kadalai Paruppu and turmeric.
Pour the fried mix into fried sooji, Add coriander leaves and curd.
Now add in water to reach the perfect thick consistency. Add salt and mix well. Set aside.
Now wipe idli plate with oil and add cashews and shredded carrot.
Spoon the sooji mix and cook it.

Serve and enjoy. :)
