Ingredients:
All purpose flour (Maida) - 2 cups
Unsalted Butter - 1/2 cup + 2 spoons
Water - 3/4 cup
Salt - 1 spoon
For Veg Filling:
Oil - 1 spoon
Onion - 1
Tomato - 2
Ginger Paste - 1/2 spoon
Garam masala - 1 spoon
Potatoes (Boiled) - 2
Curry leaves - 1 spring
Coriander leaves - 1 spring
Salt - As required
Water - As required
Method:
First, In a vessel, Add flour in a bowl with salt and water form dough soft.
Split dough it into two parts.
Dust the doughs with flour and role like sheets.
Add some butter into it and spread well.
Now close one sheet with another sheet as shown in picture.
Again fold and add butter and bind like rectangle shape shown in picture.
Close with cover and Put in fridge for 60 mins
After 60 mins, Take out and Roll the dough into a thin sheet
Place the butter in the middle again.
Bind like rectangle shape as shown in picture.
Close with cover and Put in fridge for 60 mins
Continue the process atleast 4 times to get of flaky layers
Finally, Cut the sides.
Now, Homemade sheets are done.
Heat oil in a pan and add onions, Ginger paste and fry well.
Add the tomatos, Salt, Garam masala, some water and fry well until veggies boiled.
Then add Curry leaves, Boiled smashed potatoes, Coriander leaves and fry well for 5 more minutes and switch off.
Now, Take the pastry sheets and Cut the sides.
Cut sheets into square pieces as shown in pictures.
Pre-heat the oven.
Place some of the stuffing in the puff sheat and seal it with water, brush some milk on top.
Now bake in oven with 200 C for 20 -22 minutes.
Serve and enjoy with Tomato Sauce (Recipe). :)
