Ingredients:
Sheer Fish (Nei Meen) – 1/2 kg
For Marination:
Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 spoon
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 spoon
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 spoon
Salt - As required
Lemon Juice – 2 spoons
For Masala:
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1/2 spoon
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1/2 tsp
Onion – 1
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 spoon
Green Chilli – 2
Curry leaves – 10 Leaves
Tomatoes – 2
Chilli Powder – 1/2 spoon
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 spoon
Salt - As required
Coconut Milk – 1/4 cup
Method:
In a kadai, Add Oil, Fry the fish on both side nicely.In a Kadai, Add the mustard, Cumin seeds, Onions, Ginger, Garlic, Green chilli, Curry leaves and fry this for 3 to 4 mins till it is light golden.
Add the spice powders, Salt and Mix well.
Add the tomatoes and cook for 10 mins.
Now add the coconut milk and Mix well.
In a Banana Leaf, Keep a fried fish piece and put the Masala and wrap it.
In a tawa, cook for 10 mins on each side with high flame.
Serve and Enjoy. :)
