Spicy Chicken Salna


Ingredients:
Chicken – 500 grams
Curry leaves - 10 Leaves
Onion – 2
Tomatoes – 2
Green chilli – 2
Turmeric Powder (Manjal thool) – 1 spoon
Garam Masala powder – 2 spoon
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 spoon
Chilli Powder – 2 spoon
Salt - As required
Oil – 1 tblspn

For Grinding:
Oil – 1 spoon
Fennel Seeds (Saunf) – 2 spoon
Cinnamon (Pattai) – 2 cm piece
Whole Pepper – 1 spoon
Cloves (Krambu) – 5
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1 spoon
Grated Coconut – 1/2 cup

Method:



Heat a kadai with oil, Add all the grinding ingredients except coconut and roast. Finally add coconut and fry until it is golden colour. 

Move to blender and grind and set aside.




Heat the pan and add oil, chicken, salt and turmeric powder. Fry the chicken until it is golden.

Move to a bowl and add the onions, green chilli and curry leaves until golden colour.

Add the ginger garlic paste and stir well.

 Add the tomatoes and cook until it is smashed.

Add the chilli powder and garam masala powder.




Finally add the fried chicken, coconut masala, water and mix well.

Move to a pressure cooker and cooked it for 2 whistle.


After heat reduced, Open the cooker and add coriander leaves.


Serve and enjoy.
