Sprout Horsegram Gravy - Mulai kattina Kollu Kulambu

Cooking Time - 15 Mins
Serves - 2 to 3 Persons

Serve with - Wheat Parotta / Roti Recipes  

Ingredients:
For Boiling:
Sprout Horse Gram (Mulai kattuna Kollu) - 1 cup
Potato - 2

For Grinding:
Coconut - 3 pieces
Saunf (Sombu) - 1 spoon

For frying:
Oil - as required
Mustard (kadugu) - 1 spoon
Curry leaves - 5 leafs
Onion - 1
Tomoto - 1
Brinjal - 2
Turmeric powder (Manjal thool) - 1/2 spoon
Chilli Powder (Milagai thool)  - 1 spoon
Coriandar powder (Dhaniya thool) - 1/2 spoon
Kulambu Masala thool - 1 spoon
Salt - as required
Tamrind (Puli) - 1 lemon size
Water - 1 cup

Method:
Boil the Sprout Horsegram and Potato in cooker for 2 whistles.
Put the tamarind in a Warm water bowl.
Grind Coconut and saunf with water and keep aside.
Take kadai, Add oil, mustard, curry leaves, onion, tomato, Brinjal and fry well.
Add all spice powder one by one and saute for 5 mins.
Add turmeric, Salt, Tamrind paste, Boiled Sprouts and potato.
Add coconut mixture and water, Cook for 10 mins.
Serve and enjoy with Wheat Parotta / Roti Recipes . :)
