Serves - 2 - 3 Persons
Ingredients:
Ridge Guard (Peerkan Kai) – 1
Oil – 3 spoon
Channa dal (Kadalai Paruppu) - 1 spoon
Red Chilli (Vara Milagai ) – 3
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 spoon
Curry leafs - 10 leafs
Onion - 1
Shredded Coconut - 1/4 cup
Salt - As required
Method:
First, Peel the ridge guard's outer skin and cut into pieces.
Heat oil in a kadai and add Channa dal, Red Chilli and Mustard seeds.
Add the onion, Curry leaves and fry until it gets into golden brown.
Add the cutted Ridge guard, Salt, Chilli powder and Keep in low flame.
Cover and cook for 10 mins until it gets nicely cooked.
Finally, Add coconut on top of the cooked fry.
Serve and Enjoy. :)
