Serves - 3 cup Murukku
Served with - Tea / Coffee
Ingredients:
Rice flour (Arusi Maavu) - 1 cup
White gram (Ulunthu) - 1/4 cup
Unsalted Butter - 2 spoon
Sesame seeds - 1 spoon
Asafoetida - 1/8 spoon
Salt - 1 spoon
Coconut (Grated) - 2 cups
Water - 1/2 cup
Method:
First, In a Jar, Add coconut with water and grind well and extract the thick milk.
In a pan, Add White gram and fry for 2-3 minutes and Transfer to blender and grind as fine powder.
After grinding, Sieve the grinded flour.
In a bowl, Add rice flour, Gram flour and unsalted butter, Salt, Sesame seeds, Asafoetida and mix well.
Now, Pour the coconut milk little and knead into a soft dough like shown in picture.
Now, Move the dough in Murukku maker.
In the heated oil pan, Press the Murukku maker and drop the murukku.
Fry on medium heat flipping both sides until it cooked well.
Serve and Enjoy with tea / coffee. :)
