Motichoor Laddu

Preparation Time - 10 mins
Cooking Time - 15 Mins
Serves - 12 to 14 Laddus

Ingredients:
For Boondhi:
Besan flour (Kadalai maavu) - 1 Cup
Water - 3/4 Cup
Orange food color - 1 pinch
Oil for frying - As needed

For Sugar Syrup:
Sugar - 1 Cup
Water - 1/2 Cup
Cardamom powder - 1/2 spoon
Orange food color - 1 pinch

For Making Laddu:
Cashews - 15
Ghee - 1 spoon

Method:
First, In a bowl, Add besan flour, Water and mix well like a watery batter.
Add orange food color and mix well.
In a Pan, Add oil, Once it is medium hot, Pour the flour mix with hole landle as shown in picture and Fry the Boondis.
In a pan, Add sugar with water and bring it to a boil for 2 minutes.
Add cardamom powder, Orange food color and Turn off the heat.
Now, Add the fried bhoodis into it and mix well.
Once it is mixed well, Cook on low heat for 5 minutes until the sugar syrup absorbed by the boondhis nicely.
Finally, Add Cashews and Ghee, Mix it well and turn off the heat and let it cool down.
Now, Rub ghee in your hands and start making the cooked content into round shape like laddus as shown in picture.
Serve and Enjoy. :)
