Ingredients:
For Masala:
Oil - 1 spoon
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) - 1 spoon
Shallots - 10
Curry Leaves - 10 leaves
Tomato - 2
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 spoon
Coriander Powder - 1 spoon
For Chicken Balls:
Chicken (Boneless) - 1/4 kg
Shallots (Chinna Vengayam) - 4
Saunf - 1/2 spoon
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 spoon
Green Chilli - 1
Basen Flour (Kadalai Maavu) - 1/4 cup
Salt - As required
For Curry Masala:
Chicken - 5 to 6 small pieces
Oil - 1 spoon
Onion - 2
Curry Leaves - 10 leaves
Cinnamon stick - 1/2 cm stick
Cardamom - 2
Red Chili powder - 2 spoons
Garam Masala Powder - 1 spoon
Coriander Leaves - A handful
Salt - As required
Method:
In a pan, Add Oil, Cumin Seeds, Shallots, Curry Leaves, Ginger Garlic Paste, Tomato, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder and fry well until cooked nicely.
In blender, Add the Masala content and grind like a paste and keep aside.
In blender, Add the boneless chicken pieces, Ginger garlic paste, Salt, Shallots, Green Chilli, Saunf and grind well.
Once grinded, In a bowl, Add besan flour and add the grinded chicken content and mix well.
Take some oil in hand and form the mix like balls.
Now, Fry the balls in hot oil and drain the oil.
In a pan, Add Oil, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Onion, Curry leaves and fry well.
Add the grinded Masala into it.
Add Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala powder and mix well.
Now add chicken pieces into the cooking masala and cook for 10 - 15 mins.
Once the gravy cooked drop the cooked balls into it and cook for 5 more mins.
Finally Garnish with coriander.
