Chicken Gravy


Ingredients: 
For Grinding:
Coriander Seeds (Malli) - 1 spoon
Red Chilli - 4
Jeera (Jeerakam) - 1/4 spoon
Sombu - 1/4 spoon
Kasa kasa - 1/4 spoon
Pepper - 10
Elaichi (Elakkai) - 1
Pattai - 1 inch
Clove (Kirambu) - 1
Jathi Pathiri - 1

For Gravy:
Chicken – 1/2 kg
Oil – 2 spoon
Coconut Paste - 1/2 cup
Shallots - 10
Onion – 1
Tomato - 3
Curry Leaves - 10 leaves
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 spoon
Coriander Powder - 1 spoon
Turmeric Powder (Manjal thool) – 1 spoon
Curry masala - 1 spoon
Salt to taste
Water - as required
Coriander Leaves / Cilantro for garnishing

Method:
In a Pan, Add Grinding Ingredients and fry well, Grind.



Add Oil in a pan, Fry 1 Onion and 1 Tomato and grind with the Masala.


Take a pressure cooker and add 1 Onion, in the Chicken, Grinded masala, Coconut Paste, and Cook for 2 whistles and keep aside.







In a blender, Add Tomato and Shallots, Jeera and blend and keep aside.


Heat oil in a Pan, Add onion, curry leaves and fry until it is golden brown.

Add the tomato puree, Chilli Powder, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Salt and fry until it gets cooked.





Add the Cooked chicken with water. Sim for 10 mins.



Add some coriander leaves and mix well.


Serve and Enjoy. :)
