Mixed Sprouts Kulambu


Ingredients:
For Boiling:
Sprout Horse Gram (Mulai kattuna Kollu) - 1/4 cup
Sprout Chana Dal (Mulai Kattuna Sundal) - 1/4 cup
Sprout Black Dal (Mulai Kattuna Karuppu Sundal) - 1/4 cup
Sprout Green Gram (Mulai Kattuna Pachai Payuru) - 1/4 cup

For Grinding:
Coconut - 3 pieces
Saunf (Sombu) - 1 spoon
Shallots - 8
Coconut - 1/4 cup
Red Chilli - 2
Jeera - 1/4 spoon
Pepper - 20
Coriander - 1 spoon
Poppy Seeds (Kasa kasa) - 1/4 spoon
Ginger - 1 small piece

For frying:
Oil - as required
Mustard - 1 spoon
Curry Leaves - 15
Kulambu Masala Powder - 1 spoon
Red Chilli - 1/2 spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 spoon
Salt - as required
Water - 1 cup
Tamrind - 1 lemon size

Method:
Put the tamarind in a Warm water bowl.
Fry the Coconut and other Ingredients and grind with water and keep aside.




Boil the Sprouts in cooker for 2 whistles.

Take kadai, Add oil, mustard, curry leaves, onion and fry well.



Add all spice powder one by one and saute for 5 mins.

Add coconut mixture and water, Cook for 10 mins.






Serve and enjoy. :)
