Ingredients:
Toor Dal (Tuvaram Paruppu) – 2 spoons
Coriander Seeds (Malli) – 2 spoon
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1 spoon
Dried Curry Leaves - 10 leaves
Red Chillies – 3
Pepper – 1/4 spoon
Turmeric Powder (Manjal Podi) – 1/4 spoon
Jaggery (Nattu sakkarai) – 1 spoon
Asafoetida (Perungayam) – 1/4 spoon
Method:
In a pan, Add all the ingredients separately, Except, Turmeric, jaggery and Asafoetida.
Once all ingredients roasted, Add in asafoetida and stir well.
Once it is cooled, Move to the blender, Add the jaggery and turmeric powder and Powder it nicely.
Store in a air tight container.
