Spicy Channa Masala


Ingredients:
Channa (Konda Kadalai) - 1 cup

For Grinding:
Coriander (Malli) - 1 spoon
Black Pepper (Kuru Milagu) - 10 Nos
Elaichi - 1
Clove - 2 Nos
Saunf (Sombu) - 1/4 spoon
Jeera (Jeerakam) - 1/4 spoon
Red Chilli - 2 Nos

Oil - 1 spoon
Onion - 1
Tomato – 2
Ginger Garlic paste -1 spoon
Salt - As Required

Method:
 In a cooker, Add the Channa with water and steam cook for 10 mins.

In a pan, Roast grind the items given and keep aside.




In a Kadai, Add little bit oil and Onion, Tomato, Ginger Garlic Paste and Salt and fry nicely.
Grind the tomato onion as puree.







In a kadai, Add oil, Tomato Puree, Grinded Masala and cooked Channa with Water.
Cook for 10 mins.






Serve and enjoy.
