Paruppu Vadai


Ingredients:
Channa Dal (Kadalai Paruppu – 1 cup
Onion – 1/4 cup
Green Chilli – 4 chopped finely
Curry leaves – a small handful chopped
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

For grinding:
Fennel Seeds (Sombu) – 1 spoon
Ginger – small piece
Jeera (Jeerakam) - 1/2 spoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
Pattai - small piece

Method:

In a bowl, Soak channa dal over night.


Add grinding ingridents together and Add in blender and grind like coarse puree.




Now add in onions, and curry leaves in this and mix well.


In a kadai, Heat oil for deep frying and take a small portion and fry until its golden brown.



Serve and enjoy.
