Ingredients:
For making Panneer:
Milk - 1/2 litre
Lemon - 1/2
For Gravy
Oil – 3 spoon
Cumin Seeds (Seerakam) – 1 spoon
Cinnamon (Pattai) – 1
Brinji Leaf - 1
Elaichi - 1
Garlic – 5
Ginger - 1/4 spoon
Onion – 1
Tomato – 2
Turmeric Powder (Manjal Thool) – 1 spoon
Chilli Powder (Milagai Thool) – 2 spoon
Coriander Powder (Malli Thool) – 2 spoon
Cumin Powder – 1 spoon
Garam Masala Powder – 1 spoon
Fresh Cream - 1 spoon
Salt to taste
Method:
In a milk pan, Add milk and Boil until cooked.
Keep aside the boiled milk.
Squeeze the lemon in to the milk.
Within 2 minutes, Panneer separated out of milk.
Now filter the water from panneer with a clean cotton cloth.
Wash with water once.
Now filter the water from the panneer.
Keep some weighted vessel for 45 mins on top to get the shape.
Cut into cubes and keep side.
Heat Butter in kadai, Add in onions, Salt, Garlic and ginger fry until its golden brown.
Add the Tomato, cashews and fry until it is cooked.
Put in Blender and grind into a puree.
In a kadai, Add butter, Cumin, Elaichi, Brinji Leaf and cinnamon.
Add the tomatoes puree and Add the spice powders, salt and saute nicely.
Add in paneer and mix well.
Add the fresh cream and mix well. Remove from stove and keep aside.
Serve and enjoy. :)
