Easy Mushroom Dum Biriyani


                                                     

Ingredients:
Basmati Rice – 1-1/2 cups
Mushroom - 1 pocket
Peas - 1/4 cup
Coconut Milk - 1 cup
Big Onion – 1
Tomatoes – 1
Oil – 3 tblspn
Cinnamon (Pattai) – 1 small stick
Cloves (Krambu) – 3
Elaichi - 1
Kasa Kasa - 1/2 spoon
Brinji Leaf - 2
Garlic Paste - 1 spoon
Ginger Paste - 1 spoon
Green Chilli - 2
Garam Masala powder – 2 spoon
Chilli powder (Milagai Thool) – 2 spoon
Turmeric powder (Manjal Thool) – 1 spoon
Mint - 1 cup
Coriander - 1 cup
Ghee - 2 spoons
Cashews - 10
Water – 3 cup
Salt - As Required

Method:
Add the rice and stir well.
Wash the Biriyani Rice in a bowl and add some water and keep aside.

In a bowl, Add the cutted mushrooms, Turmeric, Ginger, Garlic, Red Chilli, Coriander powder, Salt and mix well. Keep aside for 10 mins.




Heat the Cooker and Add Oil, Cinnomonm, Clove, Elaichi, Brinji Leaf, Kasa Kasa, Cutted onions, fry till it turns light golden.




Add the Salt, Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Green chilli, tomatoes, salt, turmeric and garam masala powder.









Add the mint, Coriander, Marinated mushroom, Peas and coconut milk.

Add the water, Ghee and Mix well and close the cooker, Keep in sim for 20 to 25 mins till the rice is cooked.


Keep on Dosa pan with low heat and keep the closed cooker on top for 10 mins.

Turn off and let it set for 10 mins.




Serve and Enjoy.
