Cashew Macroons / Thoothukudi Macroons


Ingredients:
Cashew Nuts - 25
Egg whites - 4
Powdered Sugar - 1 cup

Method:
Preheat the oven to 100 degrees.
 Add the cashew and grind nicely.


In a bowl, Add the egg whites and beat nicely.



Now, Add the powdered sugar little by little and beat it continuously.
Once all the sugar added, Beat until the mix forms as a stiff paste.






Then grind and add the cashew powder into it and stir well.



Add the content into cover, and cut edge.
In a tray, Gently press and form as a small dough as shown in picture.



Place the tray in the preheated oven.

As the macroon need to be cooked in low heat, Bake it in 100 degrees for 1 hour.
Check if it is cooked, Remove it and let it cool completely.




Serve and enjoy.
