Spicy Chana Kurma



Ingredients:
Chana / Chickpeas (Konda kadalai) – 2 cups
Onion – 1
Tomatoes – 2
Ginger Garlic paste - 2 spoon
Coriander Leaves – As required
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Garam Masala - 1 spoons
Chilli Powder - 1/2 spoon
Turmeric - 1/ spoon
Coriander powder - 1 spoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
Salt - As required
Oil- 4 tblspn

Method:

 Soak Channa overnight.
Next day drain and add to pressure cooker with salt and cook it in sim for 3 whistles. Keep aside.

Separately, Grind the tomatoes and coconut keep aside.

 In a Pan, Add Oil, Curry leaves, Onion, Tomato Puree and Ginger Garlic paste. Cook for 1 min. 




Add the Masala, Turmeric, Chilli powder and stir well.


Add the cooked channa along with any water and cook for 5 - 10 mins.

Add the coconut puree and boil for 5 mins until oil floats on top.


Garnish with Coriander.
Serve and enjoy. :)
