Andhra Style Fish Gravy


Ingredients:
Fish – 250 grams
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 spoon
Cumin Seeds (Jeerakam) – 1 spoon
Fenugreek Seeds (Vendayam) – 1/2 spoon
Coriander Powder (Malli thool) – 1 spoon
Kashmiri Chilli Powder – 2 spoon
Turmeric Powder (Manjal thool) – 1 spoon
Asafoetida (Perungayam)– 1/4 spoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
Onion - 1
Tomatoes – 1
Tamarind Juice – 1/4 cup
Oil – As required
Salt – As required
Water – 2 cups

Method:



In a kadai, Add oil, Mustard, Curry leaves, Cumin and Fenugreek, Stir nicely.


Add the Onion, Tomatoes and salt. Fry until tomato is mashed.


Add the spice powders and mix well.


Add the fish and stir well the masala.


Add the water, Tamarind juice and curry leaves and bring to boil.

Cover and cook in sim for 15 mins until the gravy is thick.


Serve and enjoy.
