Spicy Fish Gravy


Ingredients:
Fish (Mathi fish) – 1/2 kg
Oil – 1 spoon
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 spoon
Onion – 1
Tomato – 1
Curry Leaves - 10 leaves
Coriander Leaves – 2 spoon
Tamarind Pulp – 3 spoon

For Grinding:
Oil – 1 spoon
Fennel Seeds (Sombu) – 1 spoon
Small Onions – 15
Garlic Paste – 1 spoon
Tomato – 1
Chilli Powder (Milagai thool) – 1 spoon
Coriander Powder – 2 spoon
Turmeric Powder (Manjal Podi) – 1 v
Coconut – 1/2 cup
Water - 2 cups

Method:


In a kadai, Heat oil, Add the fennel seeds, onions and fry.
Add the garlic, tomatoes and fry well.

Add the spice powders, Coconut and stir well.


 Grind the masala and keep aside.

Now in kadai, Add the oil, Mustard seeds, Onions and curry leaves. stir until it is golden brown.




Add the grinded masala and cook till oil separates. Now add tomatoes and mix well.


Add the tamarind pulp, Salt and 2 cups of water and bring it to boil.


Add the fish pieces and mix well.
Keep in Sim for 8 to 10 mins till the fish is cooked completely.
Finally add the coriander leaves and stir.


Serve and enjoy. :)
