Broccoli Rice



This recipe is Kid's lunch special, Which is good source of vitamins B1, Omega-3 fatty acids and calcium.

Ingredients:
Broccoli - 1 (250 gms)
Rice - 1/2 cup
Water - 1 cup
Salt as required

For Frying
Oil - as required
Mustard (Kadugu) - 1 spoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
Onion - 1
Turmeric - 1/2 spoon
Garam masala - 1/2 spoon
Salt as required

Method:



In a pressure cooker, Wash the broccoli and rice. Add water, Salt and steam cook for 3 whistles and keep aside.





Now in a Pan, Add oil, Curry leaves, Mustard, Onion, Turmeric, Garam Masala and fry until it is golden brown.

Now Add the cooked broccoli rice into the fried content and stir nicely until the water gets drained.


Now switch off and Give it to your kids. :)
