Vazhapoo Vada



Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 10 mins
Cooking Time - 10 Mins
Serves - 2 persons

Served with - Tea / Coffee / Rice

Ingredients:
Banana Flowers (Vazhaipoo) – 2 cups
Chana Dal (Kadalai paruppu) – 1 cup
Onion – 1
Green Chillies – 4
Ginger – 1 spoon
Curry leaves – 10 leaves
Coriander Leaves (Kothumalli) – 2 Spoon
Fennel Seeds Powder (Jeerakam) – 1 Spoon
Salt - As required

Method:
Wash and soak the chana dal for 3 hours.
After that blend it roughly without adding water.
Take a bowl add cleaned chopped banana flower and add all the ingredients. Mix well.
Take little bit and flatten it with hands.
Heat the kadai and oil for frying the vada.
Check the oil is heated and Drop the vada into oil.
Fry for 1 to 2 mins. rotate other side and fry. Move to filter and drain it.

Serve and Enjoy. :)
