Ingredients:
Oil – 1 spoon
Mustard Seeds (Kaduku) – 1 spoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
Onion – 1
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt - As required
Tomatoes – 1
For Grinding:
Coconut – 1/2 cup grated
Poppy Seeds (Kasa Kasa) – 1 spoon
Fennel Seeds (Saunf) – 1 spoon
Tomatoes – 2
Cinnamon (Pattai) – 1 small piece
Green Chillies – 1
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Clove (Kirambu) - 1
Method:
Take the grinding ingredients and grind nicely.
Heat the oil in kadai, Add mustard and Add curry leaves.
Add the onions, Salt and turmeric and mix well. Cook till it golden brown.
Add the tomatoes and stir nicely until it is cooked.
Add the spice powders and stir well.
Add the grinded masala and water. Cook for few minutes until it comes to boiling stage.
Switch off the stove and Set aside.
