Simple Channa Gravy


Ingredients:
Chana / Chickpeas (Konda kadalai) – 1 cups
Clove - 2
Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
Onion – 1
Tomatoes – 2
Ginger Garlic paste - 2 spoon
Coriander Leaves – As required
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Garam Masala - 1 spoons
Chilli Powder - 1/2 spoon
Turmeric - 1/ spoon
Coriander powder - 1 spoon
Curry leaves - 10 leaves
Salt - As required
Oil- 4 tblspn

Method:
Soak Channa overnight.
Grind the Coconut like a paste and keep aside.

In a Pressure Cooker, Add Oil, Clove, Cinnamon, Onion, Curry leaves and Ginger Garlic paste fry for 2 min.



Add the Tomato, Garam Masala, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Chilli powder, Salt and stir well.




Add the channa along with any water and pressure cook it in sim for 3 whistles. Keep aside.




Garnish with Coriander.
