Rajma Gravy


Ingredients:
Rajma (Kidney Beans) - 1 cup
Mustard - 1/2 spoon
Onion - 1
Tomato - 2
Shallots - 4
Coconut - 2 pieces
Ginger - 1/2 inch
Coriander powder (Malli thool) - 1 spoon
Kashmiri Red chilli powder - 2 spoon
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Oil - 2 spoons
Salt - As required
Curry Leaves - 10 leaves

Method:
Put the kidney beans in pressure cooker with little salt and pressure cook for 2 to 3 whistles.

In a pan, Add Tomato, Shallots, Coconut, Ginger and fry well.

Move to a blender and grind and keep aside.

In a pan, Add the Mustard, Curry leaves, Onions and fry till golden colour.



Add the cooked kidney beans with water into the pan.

Pour in tomato puree and water.


Add in chilli and coriander powder and mix well.

Cook for 10 to 15 mins until oil separates.

Garnish with coriander leaves.



Serve and enjoy. :)
