Ingredients:
Channa (Konda Kadalai) - 1 cup
For Grinding:
Oil - 1 spoon
Saunf - 1 spoon
Onion - 1
Ginger - 1/4 inch
Garlic - 6
Tomato – 2
Salt - As Required
For Masala:
Oil - 1 spoon
Onion - 1
Curry leaves - 10
Jeera (Jeerakam) - 1/4 spoon
Clove - 2 Nos
Pattai - 1/2 inch
Brinji Leaf - 1
Corainder Powder - 1/2 spoon
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 spoon
Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 spoon
Garam Masala Powder - 1/2 spoon
Salt - As Required
Method:
In a cooker, Add the Channa with water and steam cook for 10 mins and keep aside.
In a pan, Add the grinding items given, Fry well.
Grind the above mix as puree and keep aside.
In a cooker, Add little bit Oil, Onion, Curry Leaves, Jeera, Clove, Pattai, Brinji Leaf and fry nicely.
Now add, Tomato Puree, Coriander Powder, Turmeric Powder, Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala Powder and water.
Finally Add Channa and Cover the lid and Cook for 10 mins.
Serve and enjoy.
