Javvarisi Payasam


Ingredients:
Sago (Javvarisi) - 1/2 cup
Milk - 2 cups
Sugar  1/2 cup
Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cashews (Mundhiri) - 2 tbsp
Raisins (Thratchai) - 2 tbsp
Cardamom (Ellakai) - 4
Water  - 2 cups

Method:
In a bowl, Add water and Javvarisi soak for 1 hour.



In a pan, Add water and bring it to a boil.


Then add sugar to it and let it cook for another 5 minutes.

Once the water boiled, add the soaked Javvarisi and cook for 10 mins.



Boil Milk and Add to Javvarisi to it and boil for few more minutes.



 In another pan melt ghee and roast the Cashews and raisins.



Add the roasted cashews to the payasam, Crush the Cardamom and Mix well.





Serve and Enjoy.
