Ingredients:
For Dough:
All Purpose Flour (Maida) – 1 cup
Water - As required
Salt - As required
Ghee – 1 spoon
Jaggery Mix:
Grated Coconut – 1.5 cup
Jaggery (Karumbu Sakkarai) – 3/4 cup
Ghee – 1 spoon
Cardamom (Yelakai) - 4
Water – 1/2 cup
Method:
In a blender, Add the coconut, Grate and keep aside.
Take water and ghee in a bowl and mix well. Add the flour, Salt and make to soft dough.
In a pan, Add water and jaggery and heat till it is melted. Strain and set aside in kadai.
Now add the coconut and stir well until it is thick.
Add the cardamom, Ghee and mix well. Let it cool.
Take a small portion and add the coconut filling, Flatten it like a roti
.
In a hot pan, Place the dough and Cook till golden on both sides.
Serve and enjoy.
