Spicy Mutton Biriyani

Hello All, 
This is the second post. Today I'm going to share the spicy mutton biriyani.



Type - South Indian
Preparation Time - 5 mins
Cooking Time - 10 Mins
Serves - 3 persons
Served with - Onion Raitha / Dalcha

Ingredients:
Basmati Rice – 3 cup
Mutton – 400 gms
Oil – As Required
Homemade Ghee – 2 spoon
Onion – 3
Green Chillies – 4
Tomatoes – 2
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 spoon
Turmeric Powder (Manjal thool)  – 1 spoon
Chilli Powder (Milagai Thool) – 1 spoon
Coriander Powder (Malli Thool) – 2 spoon
Salt - As required
Coriander and Mint Leaves – 1/2 cup
Water – 3.5 cup
Biriyani Masala - 1/2 Cup (Check the Recipe here)

Method:
Wash the rice in water.
Take the spices in blender and powder it coarsely..
In a pressure cooker, Heat the oil and ghee.
Add the onions and green chillies, Fry until it is golden in colour.
Add the tomatoes and ginger garlic paste.
Add in salt, turmeric, chilli powder and coriander powder and fry.
Add in the Biriyani masala powder into the cooker and mix.
Add in mutton and mix well.
Add in 1 cup of water, cover and pressure cook it for 5 whistle.
Wait for heat to reduce, Open the cooker and add in rice and mix well.
Add in 3.5 Cup of water, bring it to boil, simmer it and pressure cook it for 1 whistle. Then simmer it for 5 mins.

Serve and enjoy.. :)
