Honey Cake


Ingredients:
For cake:
All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 2 cups
Curd - 3/4 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Vanilla - 1 spoon
Baking soda - 1/4 spoon
Baking powder -1 Spoon
Oil - 3/4 cup

For syrup:
Sugar - 2 spoon
Water - 1/4 Cup
Honey -1/4 Cup
Jam - 1/4 cup
Desiccated Coconut - 2 spoons

Method:

In mixing bowl, Add curd, sugar, oil and vanilla, Mix well.








Add the sieved All purpose flour, Baking soda, Baking powder and Mix well again.



Grease and Move the cake batter into the cake mould.
Place the cake tray into the preheated oven and Bake the cake at 180 degree celsius for 30 - 40 minutes.






For Syrup, In a bowl, Add honey syrup, 2 spoons of sugar with 1/4 cup of water.

Boil it for 2 minutes and add honey and mix well.

Now, add the honey syrup over the cake and Let it marinate in cake.

Sprinkle desiccated coconut over cake.



Cut the cake in desired shape.


Serve and Enjoy. :)
